The Times Herald, Women in transition due to divorce or being widowed often need help but don’t know where to turn. This women’s workshop empowers and educates women going through a major life change. The women’s workshop is held on the second Saturday of each month. Attendees receive guidance, support and resources from local professionals – usually a divorce attorney, estate planning attorney, financial planner, coach, therapist, professional organizer and home stager -- who have donated their time free of charge. Women in any stage of divorce or who have been widowed are welcome! Workshops are held from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at DeVry University, Room 105, 1140 Virginia Drive, Ft. Washington, PA. The next workshop is on Saturday, September 13, and pre-registration is strongly recommended. The cost for this information-packed, three-hour program is $45. Workshops are hosted by the Women’s Independence Network which provides education, support and guidance to women in transition. WIN has applied for 501(c)(3) status as a nonprofit organization.
