Southern Maryland Newspapers, Operation Warrior Refuge, Inc. is a non-profit corporation with a mission to serve warriors and their families as they transition back to civilian life. We use an experiential form of therapy called Equine Assisted Psychotherapy, in which we use horses and activities with horses on the ground to help our clientele actively work through their issues.
